Hello Athletes, Parents and Coaches,

Please read this week’s T&F Bulletin. It’s the AIA Division I State Meet week! We have 43 athletes competing on May 4th and 6th to qualify for the the All-State Meet on May 12th and 13th. Good luck!

Monday May 15th (Time TBD): The Division and State Banquet will be help at The Vine in Ahwatukee. Look for an RSVP in the near future.

Tuesday, May 16th (Time TBD) is the Tempe All-City Banquet at Mountain Pointe.

On Monday May 1st, we elected our 2023-2024 Booster Board. Congratulations to:

Many thanks to our outgoing President, Lori Worachek and Treasurer, Lisa Pivin. It’s been a pleasure working with you this year!

Lisa Pivin has offered to continue to assist the team by helping with Sponsorships and fundraising for next year.

Please reach out to dvhstrackandfieldsecretary@gmail.com to let us know if you would like to assist with Sponsorships, Fund Raising, Hospitality, Event Planning, etc. Lots of spots to assist outside of meet days.

Lastly, athletes if you are no longer participating in track field please return your uniform immediately to Mr. Broze in the equipment room or your student account will be charged.

A few reminders…

1. Be on the lookout for your invite to our Plan Hero site. All volunteer and donation information along with schedules and communications will run through the site.

2. If you haven’t paid your booster fees, more info can be found at https://dvhstrackfield.teampages.com/teams/1995096-Desert-Vista-Track-and-Field-track-and-field-team-website/pages/186136 (Fees and Support). Pay by Monday, February 6th and your athlete will receive their practice shirt on Wednesday, February 8th.

4. Read our previous announcements about Super Bowl Squares, American Youth Fundraising, our Spirit Wear sale and everything else going on around this season!

Please join us for our (mandatory) parent/guardian Track and Field information meeting on 2/1 at 6:00 in the Auditorium. Please bring your $85 dollar booster fee. We can take Zelle, Venmo, credit card, cash, and check. There is no program fee this year.

You will hear from coaches about the exciting season ahead as well as from the booster board on our fundraising and volunteer needs to help us have a successful track season.

This evening the DVHS Track and Field Boosters presented the attached budget for the 2023 season. The budget will be voted on during the next Booster meeting on January 11th, 2023 at 7pm in the Thunder Room.
